Karen Terziano, general manager of the Algonquin Theatre, Mayor Hugh Mackenzie and Claude Doughty, Chrysalis Women’s Shelter board member, are all smiles on Thursday at the Civic Centre. That’s because Mackenzie was presenting Doughty with a cheque for $35,000 for the shelter’s capital campaign. The money was raised through the Mayor’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament. |
