Chrysalis Transforming Lives
Huntsville's Transitional Home for Women and Children

News & Media

The following articles and photographs appeared in The Huntsville Forester during the time when plans were being developed and funds were being raised for the construction of Chrysalis. The shelter and transitional housing complex was established in 2007, thanks to the overwhelming support of the community.

This small collection of articles is really the story of Chrysalis during its inception, the first year and half of planning and raising money for construction. Since opening, the entire community of Muskoka has continued to demonstrate consistent support for Chrysalis, Muskoka Interval House and the shelters' governing board, the Muskoka Women's Advocacy Group.
